As of january 2020, the international union for conservation of nature (iucn) lists 203 critically endangered mammalian species, including 31 which are tagged as possibly extinct.1 3.5% of all evaluated mammalian species are listed as critically endangered. 5,766 qualified as endangered, and over 10,000 species are listed under vulnerable.
